F.A.Q.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do we meet?

We meet at the car park 5-10 minutes before the class start time, please look out for the Up & Outdoor Fitness branded van or feather flag.

What time should I arrive?

On the first session please ensure you arrive 15 minutes before your bootcamp is due to start, otherwise make sure you arrive for the required start time.

What should I wear?

Classes are hosted outside all year round, so dress appropriate to the weather conditions. Please ensure you have a waterproof coat should it rain. Generally, comfortable trainers, (trail trainers are advisable if the weather conditions are poor) and general sportswear is advised. Please remove all jewellery, such as necklaces, earrings and rings.

What should I bring?

We advise you bring a bottle of water to keep you well hydrated during the sessions, you may also bring a snack but ensure all rubbish is disposed of at the end of each session.

What happens in adverse weather conditions?

If it’s raining we’re still training!  However, should the weather become extreme, such as ice, snow, thunder and lightning or a heatwave, then the session may be moved inside if available, or cancelled.

What can I expect from the bootcamp sessions?

All bootcamp classes will be both fun and motivational. Sessions may incorporate high intensity interval training (HIIT) circuits, kettlebells, boxing, battle ropes and other equipment to keep the sessions challenging and enjoyable.

I haven’t exercised in years am I fit enough?

Classes have been tailored for a range of fitness levels and abilities so there will be exercise alternatives and progressions to suit each individual. Everyone is working towards their own individual goals so you can take the sessions at your own pace! We appreciate that running isn’t everyone’s preferred choice of cardio so there will always be a walking alternative provided.

Do you have a pay as you go option?

We currently don’t offer a pay as you go option, as we’re a results focused bootcamp which requires regular participation to our classes.

How does the money back guarantee system work?

To be entitled to the money back guarantee system you need to:

  • Complete the home fitness test
  • Take your start and end measurements
  • Attend 3 training sessions a week for the 28 days
  • Complete a second fitness test after the 4 weeks to clearly measure your results against your first fitness test.
  • Follow the nutritional plan advice and clearly provide a 4 week food diary (either written or via MyFitnessPal).

ALL of the above must be clearly completed and followed before you are entitled to receive your money back.

How long will my merchandise take to arrive?

We hold limited stock, especially clothing with specific sizes as we order these from our supplier directly once your payment has been processed. So depending on stock we advise to allow up to 28 days for your item to arrive, but typically 7-14 days.

I am pregnant, will these classes be suitable?

Our bootcamp classes involve HIIT training, resistance training, boxing and running, due to the intensity of the sessions we advise that if you are pregnant then these classes will not be suitable for you. However, we do offer personal training which will give you a more bespoke exercise plan to follow. Please contact us for more information on personal training.

I have an Injury / medical condition will these classes be suitable?

This will depend on what the injury/medical condition is, please contact us so we can give you a call directly to talk about any injury or medical condition you may have.
